KTM 640 Adventure + Panniers/Crash Bars/Tank bag F/S Aberdeen
My KTM 640 Adventure 2005 6000 miles Orange Excellent Condition is leaving my stable. I am based in Aberdeen Scotland.
I will sell it through a number of channels but I want to give first go to anyone on here as I bought it off a member and it is set up for adventure travel. Bike has aftermarket side stand which will be left on.
If the whole package is not of interest to anyone I will split the adventure gear from the bike. Bike will be sold locally and kit on the 'net.
Kit comprises:
Metal Mule panniers and rack - bought new with the bike. Dust proof, waterproof. They have been over in the dirt once or twice but this just makes them look the part rather than newbie! Great bits of kit.
Crash bars - been over a couple of times in the dirt and scuffed in a couple of places but been repaired. They did their job and protected the bike.
KTM tank bag.
I am happy to consider splitting this into whatever people want. I will let this run for a week or so and if I don't get any interest go down other channels.

Hi there Chanonry
I could very well be interested in your KTM. Have you got some photos you could post, or email to me - feel free to PM me. I would potentially be interested in the whole kit and wonder what price you are looking for.
So where have you been on it? I am guessing that you are the second owner from new? MOT and Tax?
It would be good to know what you are looking for just for the bike, and then as a whole package.
Cheers
Char

Hello Chanonry, how are you. Looking over google the word "640 crash bars" I found this post.
I've been looking for a set of crashbars for my 2005 640 Adventure for two years now. If you can sell me yours that would be awesome. If not, can you tell me where you got them? I really need them to stop putting my tanks in extreme danger whe I go offroading.
My MSN is snaggelseattle@hotmail.com and my name is Arturo.
My 640 and I will be so grateful if we can get these crashbars from you. Let me know as we can close this deal right away. I have a PayPal verified account.
Have a great day.
Arturo

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
