1989 110 Land Rover Defender
2.5 Diesel engine that was replaced a few years ago, its done about 70 000 miles (have paper work to prove it is a authentic Land Rover engine)
2 fuel tanks
Split Battery System
2 spare wheels
Cubby Box
Roof rack
No Power Steering
Snorkel
Its has good security, with guards on all the windows and removeable ones one the passanger and drivers door windows.
All the doors have fittings so you can padlock them for extra security
It has a pump for a show plus fitting, but this pump will need serviced or replaced.
It has a false floor and cupboard on the side. With an extra storage box behind the drivers and passanger seats
We have done a far bit to get it ready for the journey, we have spend over a thousand pounds most of the word has been done by BLRC, (British Land Rover Company)
It does have a small leak that comes through the door, nothing some sealent couldn't fix.
The vehicle was specially commissioned by a Lord Newell to go through Africa. I have all the paper work and all the work that was done to the car from the date it was bought.
I also have a few extras like sand laders, very new high jack lift that has never been used.
It is on sale for £3500
I have also attached some pics
Thanks for your interest.
Regards
Brent

Oh the irony of it all, we've just bought our vehical having spent months trying to find one we felt was appropriate for the trip we want to do (through eastern europe, across to Italy, then Libya, Niger and a wander across west Africa). It has all proved more expensive than we had expected (I know they told us so!) but you have a few things that I'd be very interested in buying from you if possible, such as the sand ladders, interior box, snorkel etc, if any are for sale.
Please let me know either here or on my e mail address.
Sorry to hear about your sad news in not going.
Paul

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
