I don't have an MT but I do have a CCM with the same Rotax engine. I also have a Honda XR600 with three tanks of varying sizes. None of the Honda tanks will fit the CCM - firstly because the gap in the middle of the tanks is too small for the CCM frame and secondly, even if you could get the tank on somehow, the top of the Rotax cambelt tower hits the bottom of the tank.
Maybe the MT frame is different and a Honda tank will go on but looking at the pictures of the LR tank on the Apophis site the gap between the sides is much larger than the Honda tanks. They've also got the front mounts molded so the tank will sit quite high up - possibly because of the cam tower. If you're going to go the Honda / Yamaha route I'd suggest try before you buy.
