Singapore accommodation
I am shipping my bike to Singapore from Darwin, however I have to fly there as there is no ship accommodation.
I will be in Singapore a few days before my bike gets there.
Does anyone know of a cheap hotel to stay in?
Cheers
Tom

We are currently in India on our way toOZ and would also like to ship from Singapore to Darwin some time in July. Could you please let me know who you used and an idea of costs.

There are some interesting possible routes - see the shipping pages FROM Singapore, FROM Indonesia, and FROM Malaysia - link on left - "Shipments by Travellers".

I stayed at Lee's Tourist Guest House - this is probably as cheap as it comes in Singapore. They have dorms and standard rooms and it is on the road heading out of town past the Raffles hotel. Sorry I can't remember the address.

Hi, why try to flight out from Singapore to Australia. We stay in Malaysia in Johor Bahru (JB). It is much cheaper and you can comute with bus 170 into Singapore. JB's bus terminal is close to the border, therefore it is quiete fast to get in (of course you have to cross the border forth and back).
We stay in the Compact Hotel for 128 RM incl. Breakfast. But there are probably many other (cheaper) hotels.
