2 Post Rule - To get a more active forum
Hi Everyone,
I am really new to the forum, well posting is new.
I am a member of several other forums and some of them have a rule of every post gets 2 replies.
I notice there are loads of posts with no anwsers, Even if you don't know much about the subject your ideas or thoughts can trigger someone else to post a response.
Just an idea but it really works with other forums and would be nice to see these one more active.
Rob

Hi Rob,
Not sure how you can require two answers to every post!
Good idea though, and worth using as a concept and recommendation.
Sometimes a post doesn't get answered for whatever reason, then a while later someone replies to it, and all of a sudden there's aa flurry of posts. Curious!
So get out there and start replying everyone! Your thoughts ARE valuable!

One of the better things about Horizons is that replies to posts are almost always worthwhile. I dont see why you should reply to a post you know nothing about or cannot make what you feel is a worthwhile contribution too. It could be that the question has been answerred many times earlier, no one has been there done that, or its silly. Making more rules ..tch tch tch!

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
