The song is One Last Breath from Creed, who I listen to often when I ride, I copied the video many years ago, before youtube, and I have forgottton who made it, I guess the road is in the states on the west coast.

I have watched it many times, and feel the mood of the ride nicely matches the tune especially near the end when the front lifts slightly as the music lifts

What songs really bring back memories of freedom, fun and the romance about being on the road ?

I love a band called "The John Butler Trio". They can really make me think im somewhere else.

This one for example.

YouTube - John Butler Trio - Zebra (Taratata Fr3)

I really urge you to look through his other songs on there. Hes a fantastic guitarist and a total hippy too
This has got my vote ,YouTube - Frank Turner - The Road

Steve Earle - New York City

"cold, wet and hungry
never did complain
said he'd come a thousand miles
through sleet and snow and rain

He had a hundred stories
'bought the places that he'd been
he'd hang around a little while
then hit the road again"

check it out!

Two great driving songs that always make me go faster when travelling are by the old heavy metal singer Ronnie James Dio!!

'Die Young' by Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath-Die Young (lyrics in description) 1980 - YouTube
"Gather the wind, though the wind won't help you fly at all
Your back's to the wall
Chain the sun, and it tears away and it breaks you as you run,
You run, you run!
Behind the smile, there's danger and a promise to be told:
You'll never get old - ha!
Life's fantasy - to be locked away and still to think you're free
You're free, you're free!
So live for today
Tomorrow never comes"

and 'I speed at night' by Dio
Dio -I Speed At Night Live in Sofia BG 09.20.1998 - YouTube
(album version is faster than this youtube clip)

"My demons, they seem to disappear
No vision, I only see to hear
Protection, I never needed none
Direction, just nowhere near the sun
You've go some stairs to Heaven, you may be right
I only know in my world, I hate the light

I speed at night!"

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
