BIRMINGHAM NEC - Motorbike Show
Hi everyone,
Not really sure where to post this but thought that it might be a good idea to see who (if anyone) is heading to the motorbike show at the NEC this year and if so if anyone would be interested in having an impromptu meet up?
My girlfriend and I are planning a trip next year and are heading down there (from Edinburgh) on the Saturday to see if we can grab ourselves any bargains. Also one of the main reasons we are going down is because I have found out that both the Caribou and Metal Mule pannier systems will be on display so could be good to compare (know there are a few questions about them sometimes so if anyone wants something checked out give me a shout).
Anywhoo, off to count my money in readiness for some spending

Hi Hobospy,
I'm also going to be there on the Saturday (24th Nov) and would be happy to meet up. Let's see if anyone else on the forum will also be there and we can work out a place/time.

Hi Ghost Rider,
Are you still aiming to go? My girlfriend and I are planning to get there quite early (but knowing her "prep" time it might not be early for the rest of us!! ). Anyway, once we get there I will be the quite tall chap with a blue Animal fleece, jeans and a massive grin across my face with a rather smaller blond girl with a yellow jacket and not so massive grin. Oh yeah and my real name is Christopher.
Hope to see you there.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
