Pakistan you can transit without a carnet

I used a carnet to get into both of these countries, so I do not really know... but it is my understanding, that Iran will NOT be easy to get into without it. And Pakistan, I have not heard of one single person, who has been allowed to ride/drive their vehicles there, unless they were brought in using the carnet. Somebody was, as you say, transiting their bike on trains or something, but sounded very laborous, and not fun.. (and naturally they did not get in without a big, big hassle at the border.)
And I´d expect to be stuck for days or weeks at the Indian border, if you do not have the carnet, and want to take your bike there. Also Indonesia customs seemed to give a hard time for many travellers, I´d hate to try going there without it. Oz, I´m not sure, as they did not require it as mandatory back in 2008, when I went there, but as I had the carnet, I used it for temp import.
To the OP: Faking official documents is not something I´d advice anyone to do. First think about, how nice and welcoming the local jails might look like, and think if you´d want to spend time there wondering, how you´re gonna get your impounded vehicle back......
