Garmin Navigator V
I have a problem with my Garmin Navigator V. I have the New Zealand/Australia map loaded, that works good. Now I also loaded the South America map. They are both original Garmin maps. If I search an address in south america it works well. As far as I can tell from here. The problem is when I try to enter Coordinates. I tried to enter a few GPS points I got out of reports of other travellers. What happens there is it lets me enter the N or S coordinates but on the W or E number I can only enter a number that starts with a 1. I think all the places in New Zealand start with a 1 on the E coordinates.
Now, it could be, that it will let me enter other numbers as soon as I will be in South america, but I can not be sure.
Can anybody give me advise?

Can you put it in off-line/indoors trip planning mode and first scroll to S America on maximum zoom out and then try inputting start of a trip as a coordinate.
Have you enabled both sets of maps

Navigator V
Thanks for all the tips, but it was not any of that.
The problem is, and this is a bit embarrassing for me, you can change the 1 on the Navigator V only to a 0. If you do that the next numbers can be any.
It is very logical if I think of it now, but it took me a long time to figure it out.
Thanks for all the help.
