I understand this completely..
I had the same feeling several years ago after I got back from Africa. And especially as I work in the Motorcycle industry. I was 'Biked out'..
So I did a long canoe trip (amazing) and had a go at backpacking (crap). I even drove all over Italy in an old camper van (restrictive)..
Now I'm back to planning bike trips. In the right place and the right time I've not found anything to match it.
But some folk are so bent on the whole "I'm a biker and I must do everything on a bike... Everyone who doesn't ride a bike is a heathen.... I ride a bike everywhere and so should you blaaah blaaah blaaah"
These people need to think harder.
Variety is the spice of life.
