Moto storage in Croatia, Montenegro or Greece?
For one and a half months ago I started my first trip on my Motorcycle through Europe. Now 4000 km later riding solo from Swedish Lapland, I lie in my tent in south of Croatia and enjoying every second!
Due to the situation I need to reschedule my plan a bit. I'm looking for a place to storage my bike between december-april. If you know anything please get in touch with me
Have a great day!
Kind regards,
Kristina

Hello Kristina:
Whenever I have needed to store my motorcycle in a third country - either for a short time (few weeks) or a long time (over the winter), I have always found a motorcycle dealer who is willing to store it in their facility for a fee.
This is especially easy to do in northern climates where motorcycles are not used during the snow season - dealers often advertise winter storage, including keeping the battery charged up.
It can be a little more difficult to find a dealer willing to store the motorcycle for you in southern climates, because the concept is new to them - they are not used to it. But if you persist and look for a dealer with a large facility, you should be able to organize storage & battery charging. So perhaps go hunting around at local motorcycle dealers.
Typical prices I have paid north of the Alps are around €1 per day. South of the Alps, I have found it to be more expensive because dealerships have to be coaxed into storing the motorcycle. Last winter, I paid €75 a month to store the bike in Sicily. The winter before, I paid €60 a month to store it in Madrid, at a facility that specialized in winter motorcycle storage for northern European residents.

Hi Kristina
PM as I am sure that we can find storage for your bike, Montenegro or Croatia for free as we bikers from Balkan do not see money as only objective when comrad needs a favour.
Safe ride

Bike Storage in Croatia
Hi, I’m travelling from Bulgaria to Croatia in the next 10 days
Did you find somewhere secure to park your motorbike because I would like to leave mine there for 6 to 8 months in that area?
Thanks, regards, John

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
