Help please
I've just put the deposit down on a 2002 Honda bike with 12k on it. I'm due to pick it up next week. When I got home I paid for an online check and it flagged that it was import and came into the UK in 2008. I know this will affect the resale value but my main concern in the mileage. I can't check anything beyond 2008 to authenticate it. Its had 4 owners since and working on the national anual average of 3-4k a year, I'm concerned that it would have had its clock changed when imported from kmh to mph and zero'd it. So its done 12k since 2008 and its not its correct mileage!
Is this mad and should I be concerned. I've traced an MOT to 2010 and it had done 11,000miles. So if its gone through 2 owners since and it is now 12,000, its seems a bit odd.
The dealer did not tell me it was an import before I put the deposit down, am I entitled to ask for it back on these grounds?
Wise wise people please assist :confused1:
