There are travellers who don't blog or post online, or who do it in languages that our google searches might not flag up...
When I crossed from Cameroon to Gabon I had a drink with the Cameroonian guys, got chatting and checked their 'aliens' log book. Seemed to be about one 'group' per week - the 'group' might be a solo biker or 4 vehicles in a convoy. They said once or twice a week on average - some months only one or two because of the rains.
I'd say about 95% of travellers use that border crossing rather than going directly to Congo or through Equatorial G?
In the last few years the Angolan visa has probably reduced numbers a little. Some ship from Ghana as well...
