The Ultimate Humiliation
I was riding along merrily at peace with the world at a steady 50-55 ona bit of dual carriageway when I was overtaken, ( Just) by a Ural with a sidecar. I could see its rear drive shaft spinning merrily. 10 miles later I did catch it up ( just by chance ) at a roundabout where we parted company.
Later on confidence was restored when I stopped to help a goldwing parked by the side of the road in a barren deserted landscape. Sadly it turned out he only stopped for a comfort break
