Africa, South - North - NOW
Hi all,
I'm in Durban right now looking for a bike to buy. I should be off in the next couple of weeks to cape town then back up to Lesotho, Swaziland, and then off to Bots and basically north to Egypt. Anyone up for doing all or part (doesn't matter how small) with me?Cheers,
Jasper

Hi Jasper, are you still in S.A. ? Or have you already started your trip? I`m in Warsaw (Poland) right now, looking for a cargo flight to Johannesburg (for my motorbike). I am planning to go to the north more or less by the same route as you (RSA, Mozambique, Malawi, Tanzania.... Egypt). I want to start my trip about 15-30 of June. Waiting for your answer.
Cheers, Witek.

Hi Witek,
Am in Cape Town at the moment. Give me a call or somrthing when you get to SA. (0822100788). Unfortunately I should be on my way again by the time your thinking of setting off - I have to get back for university. But you never know, we may be able to do some travelling together. Cheers, Jasper

Arlen,
are you specifically wanting a dealer to buy your bike? If not, can you email me with more details please?

Hey Jasper et al,
If your travels bring you through Lusaka, throw me an e-mail. Zambia is often overlooked, but there are some quirky little rides out here that could be very interesting. Plus, I'd love to hear stories, since in January I plan to ride to Ethiopia, and I'll need all advice I can get!

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
