Hi Albert!
I am leaving Los Angeles to travel South to Argentina on October 3rd. When are you going to hit LA?

Hi Albert and Sebastian, (thanks for the PM) if you stop in Whitehorse, try the Hotel '98 bar, a bit of an eye opener and in Ft. George? the bar of the Prince Albert? Look out for an old rotund Brit pensioner on a 1200GS heading south from Calgary early Sep. via the California HU meet. Ride safe.

In Jasper
Hi Sebastian and Mike
We have been out of contact for a few days Mike so I missed out on all your recommendations, In Jasper now I am not sure about dates for getting to LA we are planning to stop off at Yellowstone, Salt lake City and Las Vegas but it should be the end of Setpember. We are flexible with time at the moment.
Cheers
Albert

Hi Albert, I should be in Yellowstone in about a week or so. I need a new front tyre badly and Missula seems to be the nearest BMW dealer. After Yellowstone I'm hoping to visit the California HU meet then drift gently south so our paths may cross in the land of cheap . Ride safe.

Hello Mike
We will be in Yellowstone in 4 or 5 days then to California via Salt Lake City. What is the location and date for the HU meeting, our paths could cross there.

OK Albert, I've just done the Yellowstone thing, OK but Alaska and the Yukon still the best. Plan now is to drift around Wyoming and Idaho as both are largely unknown to me then across to California. I'll do a general broadcast when I get down to Mexico, I think that should be about the 3rd week in Oct., should be quite a few around there then. Ride safe, Mike.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
