Are You Anywhere Near Kunnunurra?
http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...c-2015-a-83687
I was supposed to meet up this week with another HUBB member, Tsengo, in Kununurra, Western Australia to do the Gibb River Road and various trails down to Perth by mid December. Unfortunately a hail storm in Queensland left a muddy mess that I crashed in, breaking my thumb (darn awkward not having a left thumb!), so I can't be there.
Is anyone else on this site around the Kimberleys, or know anyone? to ride along / be a help-me-pick-up-my-bike buddy? Do you know anyone (other than Jo) going a similiar direction - someone to share some rides?
Cheers
Inglsman
(ps apologies about no manners, etc, just got a text from them and really feeling bad about this..figured HUBB might fix it???)

I am a Broomie!!
Hey,
I am from Broome - but am currently in South Africa so can't ride with you! The community among the Kimberley is amazing and you will find plenty of wonderful people to give you hints & tips along the way...
To find a travel buddy try 'The Broome Community Noticeboard' on Facebook... It is a very proactive facebook group and people are very responsive (even though your query is to do with Kununnurra - we all help one another)! Be careful though.. there has already been a lot of rain and some places may be considered unaccessible... Contact the local visitors centres and Shire Websites for road condition updates.
In Kununnurra, Derby & Broome there are the social groups Hash House Harriers - they are always a hoot, and are a great bunch of people in all three towns. Worth googling and getting in contact with the Harriers purely for the sake of having local contacts and having people to stop & drink with!
Enjoy the Kimberley!!! It is a beautiful area!!!

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
