Hi Guys
We leave Buenos Aires 8/9 Dec and head south for Viedma HUBB Meet then on to Ushaia for Christmas. We then head north taking in the Dakar at Antofagasta then all the way to New York if we have time.
It would be great to meet up with anyone on the way, especially Spanish speakers at the borders.....

Planning
Good to hear other people with similar plans!
The way my planning looks like now, is to start no earlier than Christmas and no later than middle of January. This will depend on the convenience of preparation for the trip: buying the bike, sorting out paperwork, arranging riding gear and other stuff.
Buenos Aires to Ushuaia and then all the way North up to Columbia.
Keep your updates of your planning coming...
Regards,
Bart

Travelling SA
Hey dudes and dudettes,
I'm looking at doing a similar thing for about 6 months (get to chile on Jan 6) or so starting in Santiago down to patagonia for some hiking and then on to maybe venezuela or wherever I get to....
Would be super keen to travel with at least one other person for a while if anyone is keen. From my point of view everything is better shared. Sounds pretty similar to your plan bart so if you keen might be able to catch up for a while. I'll have camping gear and stuff with me but figure that CS might be a good way to meet people and learn a bit about the continent too.
LEt me know..
