Beginers 5 day trip to Skye 1st-5th June 2015

I've talked a couple of mates into taking a trip to Skye from 1st June - 5th 2015.
Not really an adventure as such I know, but for them it will be their first real proper trip out on a bike. 1 Triumph Bon, 1 Yamaha 1300cc cruiser type thing ( XVS?) and me on my trusty travel bike - 650 Vstrom.

Here is the reason for post: 1 guy prefers to camp to keep costs down, the other aint camping while the days of the week have an "a" in them! I will on this occasion also be......not camping.

Does anyone want to join our small trip and camp also? ( he gets lonely on his own ) Just to make it clear I don't mean in a sexual way ( he is, we all are married men ) ( with wives ) ?..........( female ones )

2 of us are leaving from Essex on Mon 1st meeting up with 1 more somewhere up the A1 / M62 junction. After getting far enough up from Essex we will wind or way up small scenic roads to Skye.

The first and last day of the trip will be full days riding ( so bear this in mind) but the other 3 days should be more leisurely. I personally don't mind if you are a total beginner as long as you can take care of yourself, you're not weird, and don't ever, ever... say " I don't mind......" or " I'm not fussed "

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
