Hey Damon,
Yes, our pace is a bit fast but hope to make time to spend in Costa Rica and here in Nicaragua.
Be cautions in Honduras. So far the most challenging borders. We got stopped 3 time and they tried to get money out of us but played stupid and called there bluff. There was another 3 check points that we got through by either staying tight to a semi or waving and playing stupid.
I highly recommend using the eastern crossing not the main ones along the west coast.
Keep in touch and maybe we will run and hook up on the way up.

Fred, I am going to be in Bocas del Toro today. I hope to see you there.
I rode for two weeks with Valarii Kryshen.
My WEE Strom is waiting in Boquete for a new charging system (coming from San Jose, CR.
I am sad about that so maybe a visit will cheer me up.
I'll be in Bocas for a few days. LMK where you are and maybe we'll meet.
Dan

Good luck on that northern Costa Rica to Nicaragua crossing with the boat.
Looking forward to a report on that.

Hello Dan,
Where you at? The trip up the Rio Frio was great. No problems and it did help that we had insurance already. Was a little concerned with loading the bikes on the boat as our bikes are wider then the boat. Quite the sight, half the front tire and half the rear hanging over the edge of the boat.
We are in Los Naranjos, Honduras how and will be heading to the east cost tomorrow. Hope the bike is on the road.

Hey Fred, Glad you guys are having fun. I am still waiting for parts, (Stator and Rect.) here in Boquete, Panama. I am at the Hostal Baru, room 3 if anyone want to come visit.
I could be another week before these things come in from San Jose, Costa Rica.
Any and all, come see beautiful Boquete.
I still hope to catch up with you guys on your northbound ride through Mexico. as It's looking like the Cancun thing is not going to happen.
It was great seeing you guys in Bocas del Toro. Stay in touch as I am going stir crazy here.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
