BMW RT1100 for sale in Panama
I'm a Canadian recently arrived in Panama after five months of riding thru C America from British Columbia. An excellent trip with many memorable moments and zero problems, either mechanical or otherwise. Weather reports from home (and good rum) have kept me highly motivated
I would prefer however to return home via air, and have advertised my Canadian-registered 1998 BMW RT1100 on the Criagslists both in Costa Rica and Panama. This is a sweet Boxer that thrives on big-mileage days, but doesn't leave you aching at day's end. (Unless you have another 10 to 20 grand to spend on a used GS... )
Details: Factory cases including top case. Electric windscreen. Throttlemeister. Heated grips (for the highlands and for back home!). Good Mich rubber and recent brake pads. Gel insert in seat.

One ex-pat biz owner in CR has expressed interest and invited me to drop by on my way back towards home, but it'll be a case of first-come, first-served.
As I write this, the bike is getting a tuneup and oil change from a BMW-trained mechanic here in Panama City, at Ride PTY, on Via Porras between Calle 63 and 64. Shop owner Abraham speaks perfect English and can give an objective opinion regarding the bike and its condition. Abraham's cell: (507) 6451-8353.
This is a well-sorted bike and the price is reasonable. I will definitely ride it back to Canada if I cannot sell it in Panama and the dude in Costa Rica passes on it. So if you're heading up from Panama or CR in early April let me know!
