Bolivia and Brazil

Hi there,

I'm currently in central Bolivia and have just purchased a DR650 for the rest of my South America trip. My next country will be Brazil, followed by Uruguay, Argentina, and Chile. Is anyone else in this area right now interested in teaming up for a while?

Hey, my friends are close.

My friends Tom (Everett, Washington) and Charlie (Australia) are close to Potosi, Bolivia now, and headed to Uyuni to tour the Salt Flats.

Tom is on a Dr650, Charlie is on a Yamaha Tenere XT660Z.

Check out Tom's blog at The Tom Report

They aren't heading to Brazil (they head for Argentina next) , but would definitely grab a and toss tales with you.

Email me, or send me a P.M, and I'll share their details with you, and tell them what you're up too.

Yo!

Hey Luke,

Charlie and I are in Uyuni right now about to depart on a tour of the salt flats. We´ll be here a couple days but out in the 4x4´s for most of the time. If you want to meet up we´re at the hotel across from the train station. Nothing fancy, but it´s got bike parking. Probably Friday or Sat we break for Chile or Argentina. Not sure yet. Let us know if you´re coming.

Tom

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
