Cape Town to Europe - Jan 2012
I am considering doing a trip from Cape Town to Prague in mid January 2012 and looking for someone who would like to ride with me.
I've got 1200 GSA and have about 2-3 months for this trip.
I want to go through Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan (if the situation will be solved), Egypt, ferry to Greece or through Israel, Turkey to EU.
It looks like that the only problem is Sudan at this moment.
Someone would like to join or any tips or hints for this route ?

Cape Town to Nairobi mid november
Hi,
I've got fixed dates as well.
If anyone is flexible in time I'd like to go together.
after travelling from Germany to Cape Town via West Africa I plan to travel northwards along the eastern route.
The plan is to start in Cape Town mid november and arrive in Nairobi 5 weeks later.
The loose schedule for the trip is Makgadikgadi salt pans in Botswana, Chobe National Park. Lower Zambesi National Park
in Zambia where I would like to go on a 3-4 day canoe trip including Mana Pools in Zimbabwe. Then turn east to Malawi
and cross into Tanzania northwards along Lake Tanzania and if time remains into the Ruwenzori mountains.
Who we be travelling aoround this time on a similar schedule and likes to join?
I am flexible according to the route but not to the time window.
regards
Mike

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
