Hi lobkebilbo,
You're about 8mths ahead of my plans. Will still be in South America in July 2014. Interested in following your progress though.

Possible
Hey that might work for me. Was planning to do Dublin to Capetown next year east side but Sudan looks difficult for Visa.
Isn't it the raining season though?
Irish, live in Dublin, 50, BMW 1200 GSA. Have done a few cross continental trips so fairly experienced
Let me know

Hiya Lob
I am planning a trip up the west coast of Africa towards Morocco around June/July 2014 and I would be super keen to have a bike buddy.
Will be traveling in a Landrover Defender.
My first 'port-o call' is going to be Namibia(up to Etosha pan and Caprivi).
This will be a first time for me bar Swaziland, Bots and local etc so should be very interesting.... and entertaining!!
Give me a hola if you are at all interested. As you are more likely to be leaving from Cape Town we could meet up the West Coast somewhere and take it from there.
Cheers
Reg

East route to Kenia/Uganda, fly again to Dakar, then west route through Gibraltar...
Stay tuned !

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
