Hello travelers!
We are two friends on bikes who are looking to share the cost for crossing China. Time of the crossing is not set but will be sometime between May and July.
Cheers!

Hi guys,
I'm currently riding around Australia and I'm thinking about riding my bike back to the Netherlands (where I'm from). I would probably wanna cross China around June. Which route do you guys wanna take and with which tour organization?

Hello Cyklaas!
We were thinking to enter China via Khunjerab Pass from Pakistan and in to Kyrgyzstan through Torugart Port. I've been in contact with Navo tours.
Kind regards
Anton

I got the following reply on my questions;
Greeting from adventure China office, thanks for inquiry of our service.
I am brenda, travel advisor. I am glad to help your self-driving trip in China.
About your questions;
Could you give me more information about that?
- the four days itinerary will be just like the one on website.
How far in advance do I need to book it?
- at least one month before your trip.
Are you guys putting together groups?
- yes, we put vehicles together, but no more than 6 vehicles in one group.
How much will it cost?
*Price is based on the size of a group, which should enter china together on the same day via same border, exit china together on the same day via same border, and travel together using same itinerary.
*1 Chinese driver license per vehicle.
the price for one vehicle is usd 1800,
two vehicles in group, the price is usd 1600 per vehicle,
three vehicles or more than three vehicles, the price is usd 1500 per vehicle.
Price includes
1)All the Permits needed
2)Custom deposit for all vehicles
3)Entry and exit process: All the process cost and service in the Custom when enter and exit China, All the fee for Custom Clearance
4)Cost for vehicles: Temporary number plate, and insurance for vehicles
5)Cost for drivers: Temporary driving license for drivers
6)English-speaking tour guide accompany the whole tour;
7)Hotels listed in the itinerary with Breakfast.
8) Hotels and meals for the guides
9)Service of documents making, information translation and other all preparation for your group.
Price excludes
1)Meals for travellers
2)All the entrance tickets: You may choose the sights or scenic spots you like, and pay it when you visit;
3)Private vehilce cost: The fuel, road toll, traffic accident compensation, repairing cost, spare part and parking;
4)Visa fee for China
5)Personal expense: drinks, souveinr, and other personal charge;
If you travel alone with your motorbike, we need to arrange one car for the seating for guide, this will rise the price a lot.
But If you travel with other cars, guide could seat on their car.
