China crossing from Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan, fall 2018
Hi,
My girlfriend and I are planning to cross China from Kyrgyzstan (Turugart or Irkestan pass) to Pakistan (Khunjerab pass) in fall 2018 (we are quite flexibles with the dates). We're looking for people who want to join us to make a group and reduce cost (1800 euros/person for 2 and 1300 euros/person for 5 with NAVO Tour agency). We will travel with our motorbikes but there is no problem to travel with other kinds of vehicles. We would like to cross China quickly (5 days), our aim is to join Pakistan.
I'm still waiting for others agencies answers. Don't hesitate to contact me for any question, suggestion or interest.
Cheers,
Marvin

Mixing motorbike and cars when travelling through China is not a good ideal.
Motorbike are banned on Toll roads where cars are not.
This will not stop the tour agency trying to get on, but will just make things more complicated for your tour agency.
Read from page 179 on.
A good insight on travelling in China including Toll roads.

Actually there are not so many Toll roads between Kyrgyzstan and Khunjerab.
I remember one, just before Kashgar, coming from the custom buildings, but the rest are just open roads up to Pakistan

Hi,
We are already collecting offers from Chinese agencies. If we form a group big enough (10/12 people) I think we can have a price below 1000 USD. It is 5 days crossing from Irkeshtam (Kyrgyzstan) to Khunjerab (Pakistan). Hotels, tour guide, paper work etc. included. Send me your email adresses or name/surname in a private message so I can give you details. We have a Facebook group where we are discussing details.
We are still open for more people

Hey there!
we are a couple on a motorbike and we want to ride this very same route, but maybe your group it's doing it a little bit late for us.
Could you send me the details to my email? Can we still join? how much it is going to cost? When is it going to be?
pelmonenmoto@gmail.com
thank you very much!
Cheers!

Hi all, anyone here still making/planning to make this journey this fall? My wife and I are in the middle of arranging a similar tour, again with NAVO, to cross the same route (Kyrgyzstan > China > Pakistan) on our two motorbikes. Keen to combine groups if it means cheaper prices for all!
