If it's on Anglesey again (again again again), prepare for galeforce winds.Apart from that just turn up, have a walk round and talk to as many people as you can. I think in ten years there's been one Dragon you might consider a bit nasty weather wise, so while it's worth checking the forecast there's no need to dig out the studs and Swedeish ski frames.
I won't be there this year, heading for the Elefant and can't get out again a week later. Look for the Thumper Club guys they always give a warm welcome to anyone who's not been before.

Usually you'll be offered hot soup when you check in. The "bar" is a table served from a van load of cans on a good year, there is a sort of club house if they end up on Anglesey again. There is usually a burger van. So, if you are happier travelling light, having a few cans of Boddingtons and the sort of burger most people will only eat after fifteen pints, there is that option. If you want a nice Martini, Moules Mariniere, Meatballs and tagliatelli, treacle sponge and a nice bottle of Bordeaux, followed by port and cheese (that was what I had this year!), you need to bring your own.

I'll be there too. Due to time constraints I'm cheating a bit as I'm flying in to the UK and being picked up by a friend whom is also providing me with a loaner bike. Still beats not going, though I'm very much looking forward to it!

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
