Drive car from Mongolia to Europe
Hello :-)
Currently we are 3 persons driving a Toyota Yaris (2000) from Denmark to Mongolia via North Africa.
We are seeking someone who would like the adventure of driving the car back to Europe again or even buy the car. We expect to reach Mongolia late august 2019.
The car is small but (currently) well functioning with a roof box and a solar panel attached.
Fingers crossed!

Hi, not interested to drive or buy your Yaris, but would like to know the route across northern Africa if you're willing to share?
You plan to get a ferry to Morocco and then another ferry back to Italy/France and then ferry from France to Algeria and then back again and then ferry from Southern Italy to Tunisa and then ferry back or ?
Have fun,
cheers

Hello :-)
The border between Morocco and Algeria is closed so we took a ferry from Almeria (Spain) to Oran (Algeria) and drove in the northern part of the country, crossed the border to Tunisia and took a ferry to Palermo (Italy).
Definetly recommendable! The ferries and visa are a bit expensive though, so I would recommend a bit more time for that part than we did.
If you change your mind about the Yaris, the offer is still very much on the table haha ;-)
All the best
Rasmus

Unfortunately I'm not in a position to rent or buy either but you might want to contact the organisers of the Mongol Rally they ship cars from Mongolia regularly, perhaps they can put you in touch with someone that can help.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
