Europe Sept 2012
Two to three week's in Europe camping or hotel base. Have done a few of these before, Usually in Spain and South of France.
Looking for someone who could be interested in going. And then it's a suck it and see where we go. Looking at going south for the sun. I'm not in to riding in the cold and rain. Getting a crossing ticket and see where the road's take you.
Every thing is flexible as this is the first post.

Europe
I had planned to go round Europe after 15th August for 2 weeks, but my mate let me down! So gutted. It would be my first European trip. Are you tied to Sept? Where were you thinking of going?

I'm looking at going to Spain in September. Hoping to catch the crossing on the 5 Sep. From Dover, and be in Spain on the 8th. I have my eye on a complex booked just the French side of Barcelona. About a grand all in. Unless you go daft then one and a half grand. Stay over night on the fourth in Dover £10 per night. Up early catch the early morning crossing. Then fly down to Poitiers, Then on to Pau, or Perpignan on the French coast. Making the crossing in to Spain on the Saturday. Those of you that can count will see there is an extra day in there. The idea is. Either leave a day earlier and arrive on time, or spend two night's at one place and ride round and see what's on offer.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
