Fall 09: Morocco
Hi there,
My first time in Morocco and very anxious to go, despite reading horror stories of kids throwing stones and jumping on ladders and bumpers ...
(My 90 is fitted witg a roll cage and bumperettes )
I am left alone since my initial buddies find no time to go.
Schedule is as follows:
14/10: off in Belgium
17/10: ferry Almeria - Nador
Then a day in Fes, Meknes, Volubilis and Moulay Idriss
Then a liaison to Todra Gorge (possibly in 1,5 day)
Then exploring Todra, Draa, route CS Tinerhir-Nekob, Zagora, route CS Tagounite-Taouz, Merzouga, Erfoud.
29/10: Erfoud - > Nador + ferry
then in 3 days back to Belgium.
I am planning to stay on campings mostly, although wild camping can be done.
Anyone around there that time of the year, preferably by car, since motorbikes are way faster?
Roel

It is not possible to cross from Morocco to Algeria, the border has been closed for many years.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
