Very new to hubb. Joined today. I'll be in Marrakech late on the 16th. Had planned to hire a bike for a day or two. But if your free and around I would like to meet.

The Poole ferry goes to Cherbourg, so hopefully you're not on that one!
The Portsmouth to Santander ferry on 10 December is the Pont Aven which is pretty good--much better than the Cap Finistere.
You'll arrive just midday on 11 December, but the weather at this time of year in central Spain is very chilly at night time, so expect morning temperatures of below freezing. Valladolid is a good example of what to expect, see Valladolid Weather Forecast and Conditions - weather.com
Some route suggestions through Spain: France, Spain, Gibraltar, ferries and ports
Forget camping, it's way too cold even in Morocco and it's a long time in winter between dusk and dawn to sit shivering in a tent. Southern Morocco should normally be a lot warmer than northern Morocco, so head for places like Sidi Ifni (coast south of Agadir) or Tafraoute (inland from Sidi Ifni in the Anti Atlas).
Have fun.

Hi Iain,
A couple of days has turned into two weeks. Made it from Marrakech and now in Ouazazate, heading to merzouga in the next day or two. Currently with a friend in his VW camper van. I think the Atlas has had snow recently, so crossing may be difficult, if possible at all. Hope you are enjoying your trip!
