kabala, bamako, mali
Currently in NDB, heading into desert tomorrow.
I have heard of a place - Le Cactus in Kabala, Bamako, which could be a good place for Christmas - or just a RV point? Any thoughts?

Martin,
Hope things going well for you down there. I'm heading south end of this week from Kilkenny. Know nothing of Le Kabala but if recommended... Keep us informed.

Maybe Mopti?
Hi Hugh.
Now in Banjul, Gambia. I have heard of a good campsite in Mopti, so there are definitely options.

Not going to Festival
Hi Hugh,
Decided not to go to the festival after getting to Mali rather early and the costs and hassles associated with attending. I'm now on the coast in Ghana after hooking up with a Dutch biker on an Africa Twin.
Maybe we'll see each other later?

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
