Hey Randy,
I am heading down to Creel via Baja departing Canada on Sept. 25th (expect to cross into Mexico by the 29th). Let me know if you would like to hook-up before entering Mexico.

If I were to go I'd be taking my DRZ in the back of a pickup. There's room for one more bike if someone wants to share the driving and gas.

Daren, thanks for the offer. I was scheduled to ride on an organised tour of Baja, ending up in Creel, through Raw Hyde adventures. Unfortunately I have had to cancel the trip due to some back problems. Hope you all have a great time!

Are you planning on crossing at Douglas and joining the group to Huachinera, or crossing at Presidio and going to Creel that way?

What's your time frame? Are you planning on riding to the border? Given my time constraints (one week off) I think I will have to cross the border in Presidio and take the "easy" route to Creel. Not the most challenging ride from what I understand, but better than nothing, and 600 miles less driving than Douglas, AZ.

With six weeks you'll probably be long gone by the time I can leave. I'll give you a call, though.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
