Hitch hiking Africa.
hi,
I'm interested in an overland trip of Africa sometime later in the year. I plan to take public transport and hitch hike across the continent with my final destination being Cape Town (my home town).
I'm a single woman, 18 years old and i would really like the company of somebody interested in joining me in what is sure to be an adventure of a lifetime.
I am in Israel at the moment and plan to visit North Africa(Morocco etc..) first.
Contact me if you have tips or if you wanna join up somewhere along the road.
Cheers, Lauren.

Hi Lauren!
I'm (m./24) currently planning to hitch-hike from morocco to MAUR and on to senegal in april (from about 5./10.04. to the 27.04.)
As you can see in this forum, I try to get informed about the possibilities to do the atlantic route without an own vehicle (seems possible).
So, if you will be in the area in april, we can maybe meet and pass a part of the trip together...
Michael

michael...
where is your final destination? i won't be leaving the middle east as soon as april so perhaps i'll see you further south of the continent at a later date?
april doesn't leave me enough time to earn some travelling cash!!
cheers.

Hallo Lauren!
Or should I say "goeie more". I am thinking of backpaking back form London to Cape Town (Home) in November/Desember the end of this year(2002), think about it. I am 27 (5th year med student at Stellenbosch. I have seen most of Africa by public transport.
Regards
Paul
