From HU Canada West Meet to Vancouver via the TCAT
I will be attending the HU Canada West Meet, August 22nd to 25th in Nakusp, BC. After the Meet is finished I am planning to ride the Trans Canada Adventure Trail (BC interior section) back to the Vancouver area, where I will take the ferry back to Vancouver Island. This route will take 6 to 7 days (or more) and utilizes gravel backroads as much as possible. I'll be riding a KLR and won't be in a big rush, as I am on holidays and will stop often to photograph the trip. I have as many as 9 days to return home. Just wondering if anyone else would like to join me. Some of the riding is quite remote, but ends up in small villages or towns for gas and provisioning. I intend to camp. Let me know if this or any section of it interests you.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
