Have you checked on the new rules covering passage throughThailand (I think). May have been resolved by now but as they were first mooted, looked like it was going to be a major headache for some classes of travellers

Myanmar Crossing
Hi All, We are a couple of Australians travelling across Myanmar by motorcyle ( India to Thailand ) in November and would be interested in joining any groups to share costs. Currently we are at Bardia National Park Nepal. Can anyone share information with us on this crossing ??

Hi all
Will cross the Pakistan boarder to Amritsar tomorrow .the dates for crossing mayanmar would suit us . Info needed ! Number one ,can we get visas at the boarder to mayanmar . number two, have you got the papers to enter Thailand with the motorbike ? ,if so how can we get them ?

Myanmar visa: get it before (Delhi or kalkotta)
Thailand Papers: there is a fb Group (Thailand- new Regulations affecting Overland travellers) with a lot of information.

Crossing Myanmar
We are like to crossing Myanmar on end of November, we are bernd and jochen from Germany, and we are traveling with a 125cc scooter. If we can share the costs would be nice. Bernd.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
