India-Myanmar-Thailand in November 2016
Hello, we are two uncomplicated people on two old motorbikes that want to transit Myanmar from India around November 2016. Because we need it cheap we want to cross in 7 days and are looking for other travelers to share the transit and costs. Somebody there with the same need? We hope to find you

Dont forget permit for Thailand which needs to applied for at least 30 days in advance and a letter stating your intentions with visiting Thailand, itinerary, bookings for all accomodation along the itinerary etc...or you will get stuck on the border to Thailand.

Do you suppose you could reschedule your trip to early/mid October. I plan to make the same trip, but it has to be either October '16 or January '17.
I am in touch with a tour agency for an MTT permit already. I am usually a solo rider, but I've been given to understand that all self driving tourists have to be chaperoned by a tour guide for the duration of the trip, so yes, I am very keen to share costs.
As much I'd like to, given my tight leave schedule, I will not be able to cross into Thailand.

Are your dates set? We are two motorcycles, two people currently on a RTW (Mike and Shannon of S&M Boiler Works). We are looking at slightly different dates - mid December leave India.
We are arriving in Nepal (we hope) from Turkey in the first part of November and want a few weeks there before heading through northern India to the border.
Thailand does need 30-days to arrange permits and you can now enter and exit different borders and you just need a loose itinerary. There is some very good threads on both a FaceBook group and Ride Asia.
Cheers, Shannon

Hi Emmenreiter,
I am interested in being a part of your group. I am riding a small klx250 from Germany to Indonesia. Right now I am in Pakistan heading to India in 2-3 weeks. For me would be end of November, even beginning of december the best time.
Best wishes,
Max
