I lived in Kyrgyzstan for two years, and my wife is from there. If you need local advice let me know.
Also, I see you're from Spain. I need assistance in Spain. I just posted this, perhaps you can help? http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...292#post322532
Please let me know if you need advise in Kyrgyzstan. FYI, the roads from Bishkek to Issyk-Kul and from Bishkek to Osh are both spectacular, but keep in mind how far medical treatment is away from you.

Hi Steve,
Thank you very much for your offer. If we need some information we will contact with you.
Unfortunately we don't know anybody who can keep a motorbike in Madrid or in the south of spain. Sorry, but we live in Catalonia.
Best regards,
Cesc

Hey!
I would be glad to be of some service to you.
It is your trip and I respect that but may I say, 4 days to travel through Pakistan are a bit tight(its doable to enter from China and leave at the wagha border in 4 days).
I mean you're going to be rushing yourself through the country, and hence will miss out on some amazing places.
Let me know and I will make necessary arrangements.
Regards,
Zoeed Arshad

Hi Rumbalest, from our experience we would agree with Zooed, Pakistan is likely to take quite a bit longer than the few days your planing, the roads are not so good, and you have to cross the lake too. Northern Pakistan is stunning, not a place you would want speed through and miss an opportunity of a life time ?
Bear in mind whilst in India, your also likely to be travelling an average speed of about 50km /30mph
China, Krg to Pakistan can be done in 3 days quite easily.

Hi Suraj,
I am planning to leave Australia around June/July 2012 to ride from Magadan(Russia), Mongolia, The Stans, Pakistan, India, and arrive in Nepal in October. I wonder what would be the best way to ship my bike back to Australia?
Regards,

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
