LA to Buenos Aires
G'day from Sydney Australia (age 28m), will be flying into LA 27 May and looking for riding companions to join me in a journey starting some time in June 2010 from LA riding through South America with an end point and a party at Buenos Aires.
I am looking to buy a bike and gear hopefully a KLR650 in LA/San Diego and have the time of my life throughout this journey.
I just resigned from work, so the trip is definitely going ahead, would be far less difficult with some good company. I am an experienced rider on and off the road.
Don't want to take any too risky roots though.
Let me know if you wish to join in a great adventure down south.

Cheers
Dave

Hi Dave I'm Brian. Not sure what you have planned once you arrive but if you need a place to stay for a few nights I have a spare room, I live an hour north of LAX.... right on the beach. I plan on heading down to SA the first week of August but I might me convinced to leave a little sooner if it means I would have someone to ride with for part of the trip. Do you already have a bike or are you getting one here?

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
