Hi Jasong,
I'm in Rishikesh, India.
I'm also planning to fly from Kathmandu to Thailand, some time in September or October 03.
There is a saving to made if you ship two or more bike togther, the Kg price below 500Kg is @ $1.37 Us & above is $1.07 US, also you only need one Air bill, which saves @ $100 US.
Also I think it would be easer with two people to get your bikes out of customs & the airport!!
I'm in no rush but you may be!
I've been in India 12 mounths now & have spent 8 mounths in Nepal, but I'm still looking forward to be back in Nepal!
Ride Free, Ride Safe, Ride one more mile,
Rik & Changeling
But it would be nice to meet up some were.

Hi All,
I will also be heading the same route, leaving Scotland the first week in Sept, but heading quite quickly towards Turkey. Probably get there about the 15th. E-mail me if you would like to meet up.

Cheers for all the replies!
We are currently in Istanbul and in a couple of days time we will head south following the coast.
Wex - how far off are you?
KiwiPete - sounds like you'll be there for ages, hopefully catch you in a few months!
Kenny - we'll be in Turkey for 3 or 4 weeks, email us when/if you're coming south.
bmwpd - are you in Turkey still?
richard - hope you got our email - may catch up with you soon?
Hope you (and your bikes) are all well and having fun.
Marcel
