Minneapolis to TDF leaving Sept. 8th, 2008
I'll be crossing the Mexico border in Brownsville about Sept. 12th with my first stretch on the east coast over to Belize. From there I am heading down to TDF. Loose plan is to be in Ushuaia around mid December/ Christmas time.
Anyone going that way?

If you're planning on hitting Ushuaia in December you'll probably catch up to me. I'm leaving Panama in two weeks, heading south. Keep in touch.

I will be off for 2 months starting next Saturday and had considered getting my GS down to Quito or Buenos Aires and flying back _ have friends in both places. The bike is usually packed and ready although I have to change the Karoos for Tourances and change the trans and drive oils. How fast will you be traveling? LVRIDER

Pockethead,
I'd consider selling my bike when I finish in Ushuaia or Beaunos Aires/ Rio or whereever you're coming in from. My bike is a KTM 950, 2004 ecellent condition and I will be servicing it all along the way down. have done all the known upgrades ktm's have issues with and have some farkles....power outlet to tank bag, tour winshield, cruise control, crash bars, gobi hard bags, huge tail mount plate. If you have interest in that bike let me know u email and i will send pics. i would want at least $7k

Pockethead,
I might be interested in selling bike, but it would be in Argentina in Jan or Feb. All depends on how I feel when I get there.
Then again, I might decide I have to ride to Rio for Carnaval !
