Morocco, Mauritania and around in no rush
Hi Guys,
we are planning a trip from Czech republic to the Morocco, probably Mauritania, maybe Mali and generally in that direction starting November 2014, coming back to Europe around end of January 2015.
No too fixed plans yet, just wondering around, meeting people, enjoying the atmosphere and countries, remote valleys, plains, mountains, some trekking hopefully in Atlas etc.. We don't like rush, so taking generous time :-)
We will be traveling in our HJ61, me and my girlfriend, and it is our first proper trip in car, till now we were wandering around on motorbikes (mainly soviet countries, generally east of Europe:, all -stans, India, Vietnam, Iran, Mongolia etc.).
Anyone wants to join or meet up and share the remote tracks somewhere down there?
Feel free to get in touch for more details (vzteklik (at) gmail.com).
Btw. we are both Czechs, 40 yrs ;-)

Hi,
well, it's been already decided, work commitments driven. Maybe we can still meet somewhere down there?

Hi,
sounds promising, if all goes well, then yes we will have to go through Western Sahara further down and a travel companion would be great.
I will put the thoughts together and email you.

Dakhla and heading south
Greetings from Dakhla,
we are heading south now to Mauritania, so if there is anyone around, like f.e. in Atar in a week or so, it would be great to get in touch and meet up for a while?
Just drop us a line.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
