Morocco Mori and possibly beyond
Hey there
I,m looking at a trip into North Africa leaving from Scotland (Inverness) in the first week of April. Heading south through France possibly with a stop in Andorra for a few days skiing climbing mtn biking. Carry on through Spain and across to Morocco. Not planning to spend too much time through Europe except in the mountains so a couple of big driving days likely.
Cruise around Morocco for a bit and probably trek up Mt Toubkal(4167m) at some stage. Camping wild where possible except when I feel the need for a shower. Driving a Landrover Camper so can be self sufficient for up to a week at a time( depending on distances).
From there South into Mori and possibly beyond for a couple of weeks. Just see how it goes really. I,m not into a specific planned intinery because on trips like these something always happens. My only fixed date is to be back in Tasmania to start work on the 23rd May preferrably without too much jet lag!!
So if anybody out there is interested in hooking up and driving/travelling together for a bit then give me a yell. If you are into adventure sports then even better. I,ll likely take a mountain bike maybe some treking/climbing stuff etc.
Would prefer 4WD only as I like to get a little off the beaten track.
Havent been to North Africa before but travelled extensively through the desert regions of Australia on two and four wheels.
My passenger seat is still empty at the mo so could be available for the right person.
Callum
