Needing a place in Costa Rica to stay a month?
I'm looking for someone who'd be interested in dog/house sitting for a month, beginning October 12th. My place is on the beach in Nosara. Another HU member was just here for two weeks for another trip I took last month, see http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/tstories/tiegs/. Now I need someone else again. I'm in a local fishing village, but all the ammenties of gringoland are a mile away. You can see pictures at www.OnaMissionFromDog.com/arrival.htm
You have to love dogs!

I'm the one who dog sat just recently. I'll be happy to give the dogs a good reference, and answer any questions I can.

I would love to, but unfortunately, I won't be in Costa Rica for atleast 2 weeks. I guess I just really wanted to say that it looks like you have a great place. I am jealous.
Hope you find someone soon,
Ryan

OK, I'm covered for the first two weeks, but still looking for someone interested in the second two weeks. I arrive back on November 13th late afternoon.
Pictures of the area are at http://onamissionfromdog.com/may.htm and http://onamissionfromdog.com/arrival.htm. Looking for someone who love dogs, and will give them walks. They come with references. ;-)
I'm near Nosara, gringo area, which is about 1 1/2 hours from Nicoya. Anyone en route?

looking again
I've just received word that the young guy taking care of my dogs is a waste and now my neighbors are picking up the slack. Which is fine, but I'd prefer someone who could give them walks and affection. Anyone planning on being in the Nosara area anytime soon? I still arrive back Nov 13th.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
