I have no plan as of now, looking for someone else or a group to make a plan with. I would be more then happy to discuss with you options and try and plan something out. I would prefer to start in Feb, but can wait until March if needed.

I should be arriving back in Delhi tofix my broken engine late January (am off for some R and R in Thailand over new year). Assuming I put the pistons back in the right way round I'm up for whatever comes along. I might even try and build some silencers, in which case you'll have to PM me, otherwise just listen out, at the moment it just has two feet of pipe.... It's amazing what you can get away with on a 45 year old frankenbike!

Does anyone know how much the daily road tax is for an Indian registered bike in Nepal? We are planning to head there when our visas expire in June.
Also planning to be in Manali around the beginning of May to see how the weather is looking for a ride to Leh around mid May. If anyone is around then and thinking of the same

Daily charge to take an Indian bike into Nepal
Hi,
Just wondering if you got any answer on the rate to take an Indian registered bike into Nepal ? I'll be crossing on 13th Banbasa/Mahendranagar.
Cheers
Pete
