Hey Stofffl,
seems the majority of the group who is supplying quotes has the end route through Kytgyz. So I would say that seems to be the exit point. I believe the main reason for this is to shorten the route due to the extreme costs for extra days with a guide. We have a google group going so if interested pm me and I can have someone send you the link to join.

Dear Tiger3
Flying your bike from India is possible and much cheaper than crossing exorbitant China.

Hi Roameo
What are your plans for this route? We also want to go there, but just a bit earlier, end of April. We are a dutch couple with a 4WD and there is also a couple with a sedan joining us. If you are interested please let us know. We invite everybody to lower the costs AND have a good time riding.
hearing from you?

Hello there Travellers
We are looking to share costs in the same route above ( Nepal-Tibet-China-Kirchiziestan) . Anyone out three heading that way around July/August 2015 ? We have a raw itinerary (from some fellow travellers ) but we are flexible at the same time.Time wise we are looking on a 12 days /11 nights. Accommodation mostly Camping if the weather allows. We have been already in contact with Navo . Sharing cost will be the only way as the price can get pretty expensive. There will be two of us in a Honda HRV. Everybody is wellcome to join.
For more info you can contact info@overlanddiaries.com

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
