I'm off to NordKapp in Jun - travelling Harwich-Esjberg on 16 Jun, across to Sweden, up the coast of the Gulf of Bothnia to the Finnish border, then due North to Nordkapp, then gentle ride back down South through Norway.

Norway in June
My trip scheduled for June 2012 seems to be going the wrong way round. That could be a title for someone. I will travel from Uk thro Belgium,Holland ,Germany Denmark. The bridge over to Malmo in Sweden. Then NW to the west coast of Norway. Nord Capp, Lapp, Finland, crossing over to Talin in Estonia. Latvia Lithuania, Poland, Czech Rep Austria, Italy and France. Only problem is the last lap of trip is in July/august, hot and full of tourists. Counting the days to departure

You are on the ferry before mine, shame as I'm leaving from near Peterborough. I go on the 18th, then Kristiansand, up to trondheim then back down again via hamburg to chunnel. Return ferry was serious ££.

We will be in Norway in August - all month from Denmark to Nordcapp and back via Sweden. First 2 weeks heading North and last 2 weeks heading South.
Anyone around in August to meet up?

Hello Solvarr and All !,
The Pig and I are hoping to loop Denmark / Sweden / Finnland / Norway > Nordcapp to arrive on 24th to 27th July then down the Norwegen West coast in early August.
Wet, cold, Reindeer on the roads, Ice on the passes, gale-force winds on the coast, somewhat lost polar bears wandering about, sleet in the higher Finnish passes, is there anything else I should be looking forward too ?
If there's anyone about don't be shy to touch-base for a
Cheers and ride-safe !

Hi Nigel / Frank,
I'll be in Norway in late July / early August on my bike, I have to be right down south in Kristiansand for the 11th August but hope to make it up as far as Trondheim where I'll visit friends. Will check up / be in touch closer to the dates (will be coming up from the South of France first so things may change!)

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
