Now landing in sydney Nov 25th not Jan!
Just an edit to my original post about arriving in Sydney Jan 2014. Plans have sped up in South america so i will be ready to head over to the great OZ even earlier. Just need to finish my run to the tip of SA and ready to go.
Anyone else landing at that time give or take a bit?
Cheers from the road.

Yep, us - Belle, Nadsicles and Limaone. Might be heading down to Tassie for a month mid Nov - mid Dec but will be about in the Sydney area over Christmas and New Year. Then we're going a wandering all over....would be nice to meet up for some celebratory nectar if possible.

I'll be close to Sydney around December 1st, looking to ride arounds parts of OZ. I'm from the States, and just came to Canberra a couple months ago. Getting my bike sorted. It's small - a KL250 Super Sherpa, meaning I don't exceed 117 km/hour, and high winds KNOCK ME AROUND LIKE CRAZY!
If you can deal with someone on a small bike, we could go adventure somewhere.

Well we'll be on Postie bikes which are really small, so going slow and looking uncool is OK with us!

As we all know it is not about what you ride but that you ride! I will be landing the 25th in Sydney so will keep in touch Travel Bug Blues and Belle. Was thinking of riding straight to the Blue mountains as they have been recommended numerous times and are just outside of Sydney.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
