Pakistan - China - Kyrgyzstan June 2017
We are currently 3 riders and 1 pillion commencing a 3 day China crossing on June 26th 2017. After much research, we've locked in an agent and a date. So at this point neither will change. All info can be forwarded to interested parties. Cost so far is about $1200 US each. This will reduce with more participants. Register your interest below. I can be contacted via email at the following

KKH: Pakistan /kirguizstan?
Hello, I will be interested in this possibility, because I will be either in Pakistan, (or ladakh (india))
Are you going to go up the KKH for the kirguizstan? Does the price proposed take account of the Chinese guide? Which motorbike do you ride? How long did you calculate for this crossing?
cheers

It is certainly over the KKH. The commencement date is the 26th June 2017 and it is 4 days and 3 nights. There will be no changes from the above. I didn't calculate the crossing time. This is the usual time offered by all the different tour operators for this route.
So far there appears to be 4 confirmed bikes/riders. There is a strong likelyhood of 2 more bikes/riders, making a total of 6 bikes, 7 people in total. The prices quoted by Kashgar New Land Travel with 6 bikes/riders & 1 pillion is aproximately $1000 per bike. But this is to be confirmed. It may come in a little cheaper than that.
The price includes the cost of the guide.
I am riding a 2016 Honda Africa Twin. I think there is another new Africa Twin in the confirmed group of 4. The other two I don't know and the two possabilities are on Indian Enfield bullets.
It would be great to add another person. Please be aware though, if you commit. Then you really do commit. By that I mean, If there is for example 8 bikes going and they have all payed their deposits and if only one dosn't show at the Chinese border on the 26th June, then no one can cross. The group must all cross as a group. Thus everyone is dependent on everyone else making it to the Indian/Chinese border.
If on the other hand you pay a deposit and for what ever reason you can't make it. You can cancel no less than 1 week prior to the crossing ( 19th June of course ) and the rest of the group can still proceed.
If you want further details PM me using my email posted in the original post.
I hope this helps.
Cheers
Graeme.

It's not too late to join this crossing if anyone is interested. because of ramadan and boarder closures by both the Pakistan and Chinese governments the crossing of the KKH will no be on the 20th June most likely. Please email me at gpdotkldotperkins@gmail.com Obviously substitute the "dot" for .

Hello we are a family with a truck and were thinking of crossing China to Kyrgyzstan around the same dates. When are you planning to cross? And is there still a chance of joining your group? Thanks for now jusalulu

Certainly is a chance, but you need to move fairly quickly. We were originally going to cross on the 26th. But because of Ramadan the Pakistani and Chinese governments decided to close the boarder down for more than a week. Because we already have our Chinese visas and they expire on the 1st July, we have been forced to move forward to either the 19th or 20 th June for the 3 night 4 day crossing.
Please email me at gpdotkldotperkins@gmail.com ( subsitute the "dot" for . )
Cheers
