I am planning on leaving Victoria B.C at the end of September (earlier if possible) heading east to take the Great divide trail down to Mexico. Going to head west and take Baja down, cross over and head toward Belize. I would like to be in Argentina for Dakar. Otherwise the plan is quite loose. Keep me posted on those shipping costs please. Planning to ride through Africa after.

Leaving Seattle for Ushaia first week October. Plan on getting back by March. If you are ahead then we will see you on Christmas Day. If not, feel free to join our little band as far as you like.
If your route brings you Seattle way, email me via unchainedworld.com and I'll be happy to help some how.
Cheers,
Lamble

Start date is getting near
I'm leaving from Panama (where I live) about Sept 8. Flying the bike to Colombia, then all the way south. I would be happy to meet up with anyone going that way. Drop me a line.

Read your recent post with interest as we made that trek from Toronto to Ushuaia via Alaska back in 2003-2004. It was the journey of a lifetime! It was by SUV though, not bike. Safe travels!

I will be headed for Alaska from Colorado in the first week of June, taking 6 weeks for the round trip on a KLR.
A buddy and I will then leave Colorado at the end of September, and hope to be in Ushuaia before year's end.
We might cross paths or ride for a while in S America. We were planning on riding south from Bogota through Ecuador and Chile as far south as possible before turning into Argentina and heading for Ushuaia.

A travel agency in Finland, Peterpanmaailma, is doing a group-tour from Anchorage to Ushuaia, starting 1st September, ending 10th November... and they claim they have over 10 riders coming, even though the trip costs in the region of 20.000 euros (which includes a bike, KLR650 or similar). So I guess you might meet a bunch of crazy Finns on the road then.

Hi Rich,
I am leaving first week in May from Phoenix. I have been travelling around the SW US for the last few months although not always on the Bike. I will be stopping off at a few places along the way so I am sure we could meet somewhere.
Cheers Mojo
